Snow round 2. part 1 :o

Lucas :]

:|

My buddy lucas texts me pretty late a few days ago and asked if i wanted to head out shooting with him for a new uni project we just got, i'll never turn down a shoot with a friend so we planned to set off real early the next day.

Blah blah blah right?

So its snowing like a mother fucker, looks like were in Siberia not Wolverhampton and we travel down to a canal.. blah blah blah

So i set up the Hasselblad with a sweet 40m wide lens on it, probably the greatest photographic lens ever crafted, shame the uni lets all the students piss all over it, i wasn't at all hesitant to set up knowing Hasselblads could survive anything this planet throws at them.

So i'm shooting and metering blah blah and take a few shots and move through the area and i look down into my view finder to see his horrible fucking scratch,

Let me tell you now, wasn't even a good scratch, like what a man does to an animal..

..

Was a weird scratch and looked perfect, looked like it ripped a layer of coating off the view finder because i could see right down into my camera. HORRIBLE. Couldn't get my head around it and my heart went and i just wanted to take my camera home and nurse it back to health. For me the shoot was over.

wtf://

I assisted Lucas and kept my camera out 10 minuets later i pop the view finder back up to see the scratch has grown and is now creating a perfect circle around my view finder, It hit me now the snow had melted on my screen and water logged it totally. but from the looks of it it was never going to work again. GUTTED.

Can't be botherd to type the rest of the adventure out but got home, dryed the view finder out, was okay :} yay

Why are there no scans from the film i took you ask? because i carved words into them with a cork screw as they dried and now there in the bin. unlucky :p
